Duration: 3 hours

What recipes remind you of your home?

What role did food play in your childhood?

How did you learn to cook? Did you?

What food brings you comfort?

The smell of freshly baked cookies filled the basement level of the Zhou Brother’s Gallery, inviting audience in, to take a seat, have a cookie (or two) and share a story. Over the course of three hours, I baked dozens and dozens of chocolate chip cookies and engaged in organic dialogue with viewers exploring the ideas of family, food, community, and comfort.
